Terms of Service

1. About the platform

ders.zone connects teachers and students and provides tools for listings, messaging, booking and online lessons. The lessons themselves are provided by independent teachers; the platform is not an employer of teachers and does not guarantee a particular learning result.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Students under 18 may use the platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Lessons and bookings

A student sends a lesson request for a specific date and time. The lesson is booked when the teacher confirms the request. Prices are set by teachers in Azerbaijani manats (AZN) per 60 minutes and are shown before a request is sent.

Lessons take place in the online classroom on the platform. Lessons are not recorded by the platform.

4. Payments

Payments for lessons are processed inside the platform by a licensed payment provider. The platform does not store bank card data.

A platform fee is deducted from the teacher's payout only for lessons that take place. The current fee is published on the website before a teacher starts accepting paid lessons.

5. Teacher obligations

Teachers must describe their qualifications and experience truthfully, be on time, conduct lessons respectfully, and are responsible for their own taxes and for any permits required for their activity.

6. Acceptable use

You may not harass or discriminate against other users, impersonate another person, post unlawful or misleading content, attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the platform, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

7. Content

You keep the rights to the materials you publish. You grant the platform a limited licence to display them as needed to operate the service.

8. Liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, for the quality of lessons given by teachers, or for interruptions caused by third-party services or the internet connection.

9. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the current version is always published on this page. You may stop using the platform and delete your account at any time by contacting us.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Disputes are first resolved through negotiation; if that fails, in the competent courts of Baku.
