1. Data we collect

Account data: name, email address, role (student or teacher) and a hashed password.

Teacher profile data: headline, description, country or city, subjects, languages, level and price.

Activity data: lesson requests and bookings, messages between users, and reviews.

Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, your language and theme preferences, and basic server logs (IP address, browser type, time of request).

2. Why we use it

To create and secure your account, show teacher profiles, arrange and run lessons, deliver messages and service emails (confirmation, password reset, booking notifications), process payments, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.

3. Who we share it with

We use service providers to run the platform: hosting, database, email delivery, video and real-time communication, and payment processing. They process data only on our behalf and for these purposes.

Teachers and students see each other's names and the details needed for a lesson. We do not sell personal data.

4. Storage and security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. We keep data while your account exists and as long as required by law; after you delete your account we remove or anonymise your data except where we must keep records.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage: the session cookie and your language and theme choice. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, or delete it, and withdraw consent where processing is based on it, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan on personal data.

7. Children

Students under 18 should use the platform together with a parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for providing consent to the processing of the child's data.
